The EU Idiocracy, Does the EU have Electrolytes? it certainly has Acolytes.

An acolyte is an assistant or follower assisting the celebrant in a religious service or procession. In many Christian denominations, an acolyte is anyone who performs ceremonial duties such as lighting altar candles. In others, the term is used for one who has been inducted into a particular liturgical ministry, even when not performing those duties.

Etymology[edit]

The word acolyte is derived from the Greek word ἀκόλουθος (akolouthos), meaning an attendant, via Late Latin acolythus.

Idiocracy is a 2006 American satirical science fiction comedy film directed by Mike Judge and starring Luke WilsonMaya Rudolph, and Dax Shepard. The film tells the story of two people who take part in a top-secret military human hibernation experiment, only to awaken 500 years later in a dystopian society where advertisingcommercialism, and cultural anti-intellectualism have run rampant, and which is devoid of intellectual curiositysocial responsibility, and coherent notions of justice and human rights.

Joe: For the last time, I'm pretty sure what's killing the crops is this Brawndo stuff.
Secretary of State: But Brawndo's got what plants crave. It's got electrolytes.
Attorney General: "So wait a minute. What you're saying is that you want us to put water on the crops.
Joe: Yes.
Attorney General: Water. Like out the toilet?
Joe: Well, I mean, it doesn't have to be out of the toilet, but, yeah, that's the idea.
Secretary of State: But Brawndo's got what plants crave.
Attorney General: It's got electrolytes.
Joe: Okay, look. The plants aren't growing, so I'm pretty sure that the Brawndo's not working. Now, I'm no botanist, but I do know that if you put water on plants, they grow.
Secretary of Energy: Well, I've never seen no plants grow out of no toilet.
Secretary of State: Hey, that's good. You sure you ain't the smartest guy in the world?
Joe: Okay, look. You want to solve this problem. I want to get my pardon. So why don't we just try it, okay, and not worry about what plants crave?
Attorney General: Brawndo's got what plants crave.
Secretary of Energy: Yeah, it's got electrolytes.
Joe: What are electrolytes? Do you even know?
Secretary of State: It's what they use to make Brawndo.
Joe: Yeah, but why do they use them to make Brawndo?
Secretary of Defense: 'Cause Brawndo's got electrolytes.

Struck By the continuing low information Rants both in above the line and below the line comments sections across the media Spectrum It struck me that the Idiocracy of the EU and its acolytes required addressing.

The Graphic at the head of the Blog here says it all, Europe a never ending Idiocracy.

I will let the comments exchange on the Independent's article on Chucka Umunas' Queens Speech amendment and The Sacking of various Labour rebels speak for itself.

My Other Eu analysis is easily searchable elsewhere on this Blog, there is a condense at the link at the end of this Blog Entry.

Umana is a Blairite and the Blairites have not given up yet. Jeremy Corbyn will sensibly assert his authority and the whip will be withdrawn from these MP´s their Local Constituency Parties know what to do.
Brexit is not a Bad option for many who argued for remain on the left that did not want an unfettered Tory Government. That Threat has passed with Mrs Mays loss of Authority, the Tory Manifesto is in Tatters, The Queens Speech proved that.
SO all those saying a new referendum would see a remain Vote are I think missing the point that The EU since the Brexit vote has hardened its Neo-Liberal and Austerity Led Stance, Much of Labours anti-Austerity and Social Democratic policy is illegal under EU laws,
The quality of political understanding around the Eu in its current form and what it has been in the past is quite telling. Read these analyses for some idea of how the EU abuses its Magic Money Tree. And How Labour with its new Left of Centre Social Democratic Stance can harness the Magic Money Tree properly.

Or Train Privatisation in The EU at 16mins. Eu Austerity policies at 22mins. I am sorry to bring facts into an emotional issue for you but it seems to me the low information approach to this question failed badly during the referendum campaign and continues to Under-perform.

I am perfectly serious, The EU competition laws would, for instance, prevent the National Investment Bank from making certain Investments as it could be classed as State Subsidy of industry and also fall foul of terms under the CETA trade deal. If you read the Link to the Analyses referred to and knew something of the EU and its Neo-Liberal Trade Deals and Competition Laws you would have understood the point.

The "leavers" voted to leave because they thought that leaving would make them better off.
The "remainers" voted to remain because they thought that leaving would make them worse off.
Nobody likes to be wrong, so let's hope that both are right.

And you (and the blog author) are definitely blessed with all wisdom of the world, just the opposite to the "the Idiocracy of the EU"... do you know that actually stupid people do not know they are stupid? Stupidity means one is unable to learn - to see changes around them and in reaction to change their own point of view. Think about it.

I am in fact the Blog Author. I Also make the many Giphys and videos that appear on my blog.
Stupidity is not the problem, the problem is Confirmation Bias and blind faith in ideological positions.
I do not claim Special or unique knowledge what I do claim though is some research and critical thinking. I have examined several sides of all the questions I address in the blog and I do claim some expertise in some areas related to Political Economy.
On Confirmation Bias I wrote This.

Both major parties back Brexit - until they don't.

The government's Brexit strategy is in disarray, the economy is already starring to take hits, with worse to come, and key industries that supported leaving such as farming and fishing realise they will be worse off.  Many MPs can already sniff the wind

The guide covers:
  • How to debunk the common myths about the crisis, and learn about what’s really going on.
  • How to counter the arguments about austerity
  • Who profits from the crisis? Who funds the bailouts and why?
  • Arguments and strategies for debt resistance.
  • Information on the resistance and the alternatives arising from the grassroots.
Based on myths and false dilemmas, the mainstream narrative around the crisis still dominates discussion. Breaking away from this, this guide shows that:
Private sector debts were nationalised creating huge problems for public finances; yet myths were spun to justify a ‘solution’ that involved ever increasing amounts of sovereign debt whilst imposing widespread unemployment and dramatic reductions in living standards. A step towards social and economic justice would be for these debts to be cancelled and those responsible both nationally and internationally to bear the burden of cancellation. This guide compiles arguments and evidence to challenge debt repayment. While banks and other financial institutions are responsible for countries’ indebtedness and have helped create the crisis, at the same time they have profiteered from it in numerous ways, such as betting against countries’ default, and then benefiting from the latter’s bailouts.
Future profitability is ensured by reorganising the institutional landscape to promote private corporate business opportunities. This report shows who is profiting from the crisis and reveals how and why grassroots mobilisations are rising up against the European establishment. This guide argues for opposition to the EU that is not based on discrimination or prejudice, to reclaim the space that has so far been dominated by far right movements. The crisis has cast aside any pretence of democracy; the kind of changes instituted are only possible with broad, general use of force, violence and appeals to nationalism and xenophobia. The guide documents the far reaching impacts of austerity politics and presents the main social, economic and political arguments to counter it.

Meet The Fuggers, Brexit, The Euro and Clueless Elites.

Meet the Fuggers or, its the Money Power stupid. Brexit, The Euro and clueless Elites.

The Eastern Roman empire under Justinian saw the seeds of its final fall to The Ottomans when Abd El Melik started paying tribute in Gold coinage under his own Political Branding you might say.

With all the talk of Brexit being the removal of a final obstacle to the deeper federation of a European State transcending tiresome nationalism, perhaps a little review of History, particularly Monetary history, might not be such a bad thing.

In the review of European competences carried out as a consultation by the foreign office regarding Brexit and or reform requirements of the Eu, two of the papers need to be considered in the context of the Money power argument.

The first paper considered is the Subsidiarity and proportionality aspects of the Lisbon treaty and the competences of the EU institutions vis National and regional democratic institutions. This is a trade-off between Centralised Efficiency and …

The 2015 turnout was 66.1 % overall. around the same as 1997 general election less than the 77% for the 92 vote. Historically the 1950 and 51 elections had over 80% turnouts.
