Brand Milliband Interview. Brands strange lack of self confidence?

Media Lens state that they felöt Russel Brand caved in on his questions to easily giving away to Millibands rhetoric. I personally saw a lack of self confidence which is a shame as I say below I think Russel Brand has the intellectual apparatus to debate these issues in greater depth.

Brevity really is the enemy of understanding.´´ If you want to say something that questions the religion( Ruling Paradigm), you're expected to give evidence, and that you can't do between two commercials. So therefore you lack concision, so therefore you can't talk.´´—Noam Chomsky, Conversations with History Institute of International Studies, University of Berkely.

Brave effort Russel and Milliband, but a longer interview is needed to pin down what he stands for and what the questions and problems are. More of a benefit to Milliband I would have thought and generates rather more heat than light.

I think Russel is capable of following through on the questions but to me seems to lack confidence in his own intellectual depth and this seems to be holding him back. Might sound strange to say a narcissist lacks self confidence but if with knowledge certainty decreases it is consistent with the learning curve Russel has clearly been on. For me personally I think its worth cutting Russel some slack and offering support and encouragement I think he has what it takes to kick these issues around and Pin TPTB down on issues. His interview with Owen Jones is quite good actually.

Is Lynton Crosby really Peter Foster:

´´The aide said that guys like me were "in what we call the reality-based community," which he defined as people who "believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality." I nodded and murmured something about enlightenment principles and empiricism. He cut me off. "That's not the way the world really works anymore." He continued "We're an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you're studying that reality—judiciously, as you will—we'll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that's how things will sort out. We're history's actors … and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do."
Suskind, Ron (2004-10-17). Faith, Certainty and the Presidency of George W. Bush. The New York Times Magazine.

Peter Clarence Foster (born 26 September 1962) is an Australian who has been convicted and jailed on three continents[1][2][3] for offences involving weight loss products and property transactions.[1]
He was also in the headlines following his involvement in helping Cherie Blair, wife of British prime minister Tony Blair, buy properties in Bristol.[4]

Lynton Keith Crosby AO (born 1957 in Kadina, South Australia)[1][2] is an Australian political strategist who has been described as a "master of the dark political arts," "the Wizard of Oz," "the Australian Karl Rove," and "one of the most powerful and influential figures in the (Australian) nation".[1][3]
On 18 November 2012 Lynton Crosby was appointed as a campaign consultant by the British Conservative Party for the 2015 General Election.[4]
In the 1980s Crosby advised the Liberal Party of Australia, becoming the political organisation's Deputy Federal Director in 1994 and then Federal Director in 1997, a position he held until 2002. During this time he masterminded successful General Election victories for the former Australian prime minister John Howard, in 1998 and 2001.
In 2002 he set up a consulting firm, the Crosby Textor Group, with Australian pollster Mark Textor. Crosby Textor has since run over 250 campaigns in 57 countries.[5]
In 2005 Crosby managed the Conservative Party's unsuccessful General Election campaign in the United Kingdom securing 33 additional seats, the party's first net gain of seats from the Labour Party in 13 years.[4] He was later hired to run the London Mayoral Campaign in 2008 increasing the Conservative first preference votes from 29% to 43%[6] and electing Boris Johnson as Mayor of London. This success was repeated in 2012 where Boris Johnson was re-elected with 44% of the first preference votes.[7][8]
In March 2009 it was announced that Crosby would direct the Europe-wide Libertas campaign for the June 2009 European Parliament elections.[9] Despite running 600 candidates, the movement only managed to get one MEP elected, and folded shortly after.[10]
He holds a degree in economics from the University of Adelaide and in 2005 was awarded the Officer in the Order of Australia (AO).[11]

We think probably not but isn't the Election campaign all together to Presidential!

Meanwhile Crosby blows Hot air up the arses of his paymasters whilst Boris, Dave and Gideon continue to Spin the bubble and breathe further life into their smoke and mirrors confidence trick laughably called the UK Economy.

Cameron Blows Gideon in Bubble blowing demonstration on Faltering Growth

This just in, Gideon Fluffer resigns , Cameron steps in to Blow Gideon assisting in stiffening his resolve and IDS who has been told to hold his breath for the entire campaign was last seen floating over the English Channel looking fit to explode. Russel Brand opines to Ed Milliband ``I like my poilitics well ´Úng mate´´ ´´ What makes today’s negative interest rate environment so worrying is this; to the extent that demand is growing at all in the world economy, it seems again to be almost entirely dependent on rising levels of debt. The financial crisis was meant to have exploded the credit bubble once and for all, but there's very little sign of it. Rising public indebtedness has taken over where households and companies left off. And in terms of wider credit expansion, emerging markets have simply replaced Western ones. The wake-up call of the financial crisis has gone largely unheeded. ´´ Jeremy Warner The Telegraph

On Baltimore Riots, The US spring and what is Anarchy?

In response to the Fascist neo liberal propaganda rag The Economist. its the US Spring, just genuinely spontaneous. Anarchy is not chaos Emmanuel Kant Describes 4 forms of Government,. Barbarism is the one with violent chaos. Anarchy is democracy without violence. As summary Kant named these four kinds of government: A Law And Freedom without Violence (Anarchy) B Law And Violence without Freedom (Despotism) C Violence without Freedom And Law (Barbarism) D Violence with Freedom And Law (Republic) Lets talk about neo liberalism whilst we're at it, The social unrest in Baltimore is hardly surprising given the extent and depth of neo liberal fascism in the US today.

A well hung parliament signifies virile democracy.

Reject to narrative of smaller parties holding governement to ransom, Democracy is not about WInner takes all, stuff everyone else once the bidding is over. Democracy should be a consultative inclusive process sensitive to all needs and wants across the whole spectrum of society , cultural , political and Economic. It is non sensical in a functioning democracy to claim that minority views should not be heard where a case is made. Is it a democracy where a minority voice is able to be ignored? Many minority and yet Right minded voices have been ignored and taken for granted for far to long in British policies a hung parliament with a Coalition or more informal supply and support arrangement is precisely what British Democracy needs. Balance is the key to life itself and no less in political life where power should be balanced by accountability and alternative voices with access to full checks and balances against excessive lurches in favour of special interest groups. So go ahead and vote for what you believe in and if that deliversa Hung Parliament so much the better. A well hung parliament signifies virile democracy.

Camerons Bubble, New Tory campaign song I'm forever Blowing Bubbles.

What was Cameron referring too in his West Ham winning reference?
Villa Fans first have this to say.
Aston Villa Football Chants

Cameron man said 'be a Hammers fan',
And I said' b***ocks you're a c**t (you're a c**t),
We hate the blues and we're gonna show it,
We hate the blues and we f**king know it,

With Spinksy and Burchy Alan Mcanally,
They're the boys who gonna do us fine,
You support the blues ur a blue nose b***ard and you ain't no friend of mine,

--> I'm forever blowing bubbles,
Pretty bubbles in the air,
They fly so high,
Nearly reach the sky,
Then like my dreams,
They fade and die.
 Fortune's always hiding,
 I've looked everywhere,
I'm forever blowing bubbles,
 Pretty bubbles in the air.

 Verse 1
 I'm dreaming dreams,
 I'm scheming schemes,
 I'm building castles high.
They're born anew,
Their days are few,
Just like a sweet butterfly.
And as the daylight is dawning,
They come again in the morning.

 Verse 2

 When shadows creep,
When I'm asleep,
To lands of hope I stray.
 Then at daybreak,
When I awake,
My bluebird flutters away.
Happiness new seemed so near me,
Happiness come forth and heal me.

B side to Fuck off back to eton.

Don't be fooled by the Tory bubble, the west ham freudian slip is clearly a vieled reference to the hammers anthem adopted as the tory unofficial campaign song

Financial Bubbles. 1. The system distributes money from the bottom 90% to the top 10% Because 97% of the money in the UK is created by banks, someone must pay interest on nearly every pound in the UK. The bottom 90% of the UK pays more interest to banks than they ever receive from them, which results in a redistribution of income from the bottom 90% of the population to the top 10%. Collectively we pay £165m every day in interest on personal loans alone (not including mortgages), and a total of £213bn a year in interest on all our debts.

Welsh repression, How long will wales take to cotton on to the SNP revolution in Scotland and why They should do the same.

Wake up Wales. Labour is not representing Welsh interests Plaid do. The Tories condescend to wales always have always will. It seems amazing to me that Plaid and the Greens are behind UKIP. Plaid should adopt The Greens monetary reform policies as should the SNP in Scotland. If the union is to stay together devolution and fair play regionally is a must this applies also to Cornnwall ( the South West and also the Midlands , North East and North West of England. Labour and the Tories are both London( Wetsminster, City of London) centric. Out of touch with the real economy and with the lives of ordinary people, even ordinary people in London. I accept that UKIP are more in touch with grass roots folk as well, but lets face it they are really Old fashioned Tories, Nye Bevan would have recognised them as such I am sure and I am sure he would have something to say about ´´New Labour´´ too. This general election could do wonders for democracy if Labour and Conservative candidates were ignored and people voted for the real choice between Progressive or Conservative policies as represented by Greens, Plaid SNP on the one hand ; and UKIP on the other. If people voted for their best interests and those of their communities Scotland would have the SNP , Wales would have Plaid and England would likely have Green with a sprinkling of UKIP and Lib Dem. A vote for Labour or Conservative is really a vote for the status quo They are both Neo Liberal in essence and have forgotten that People Work to Live, its not supposed to be the other way around . For a work life balance and for balance in political economy reject the Live to work parties of Big Business Globalism and embrace the Work to live parties of balance and fairness.

Bairns not Bombs, A defence not an Attack industry.

I must say I agree with this poster very much. I watched the debate last night and for me the biggest downer was Ed Milliband painting Ukraine as a problem of Russian Aggression, this is so simplistic as to qualify as a lie and in any event the Geo-Politics of 2015 does not and never has made Nuclear Armaments Valid or useful, I thought Nicola Sturgeon gave a very good exposition of conventional Military arms policy for the UK and Nicola Bennett also described well as did Leanne wood the positive uses that a conventional Defence force can have ( Defence is the operative word here) If one wishes to have the capability to Shock and Awe that is quite different to any notion of defence. I am still marvelling at the marginalisation of the important question of Money and Money Creation when Austerity as a policy is clearly firmly in the spotlight. How can any discussion of either the National Debt or the Current Account deficit be sensibly balanced if one does not question the role of Debt in money creation and that 97% of debt and therefore money is created by Private banks out with the interests of National Political Economy. Did anyone else catch William Hague´s interview immediately post-debate, clearly Clegg and Cameron were playing a psychological game in sending a message that they could let the children have their own little discussion unintimidated by the grown-ups. Has Hague moved on since he addressed the Tories at Brighton back in the late 70's? life usually teaches the rest of us rather a lot certainly enough to laugh at our younger selves and to rue some of our lost optimism and innocence, why do I think this is not the case for Hague perhaps we should call him William ( the cold fish) Hake.

Paying for promises, The trump card of seniorage.

One of the hugely overlooked parts of Green Economic policy is the restoration of money creation to the Exchequers account this is a huge saving on the present privatised system which is one that has happened by default or stealth depending on your viewpoint.

Check out policy EC661 The Green Party believes that, as the means of exchanging goods and services, the stock of money is a vital common resource which should be managed in the public interest. Yet only 3% of our money supply currently exists in the form of notes and coins issued by the Government or the Bank of England. 97% of the money circulating in the economy takes the form of credit that is created electronically by private banks through the accounting processes they follow when they make loans.  for an idea of the full extent of tax payer value of such a policy see.

From 2002 to 2009, banks increased the amount of money in the UK by £1 trillion through lending (with every new loan creating new money). Because this money was created by banks, it’s the banks that get the benefit from it (in this case, the interest received on £1 trillion of additional loans).

If the government had created this money instead of the banks, taxpayers would have been able to pay up to £1 trillion less taxes: approximately £33,000 for every person who pays income tax over just 7 years.[1]

Paying for promises. On defecits Political promises and Patronage.

Greece is in the news, my opinion is I wish they would get on and do an Iceland. Iceland are also looking at adopting sovereign money. The Icelanders got burned at the same time as the rest of us in 2008/9. The Icelander did however create moral hazard and have charged some of their offending bankers with the crimes they are alleged to have committed. Not so in The Euro Zone or the UK or US. All arguments in modern political Economy stem from the question of Where is the money coming from to pay for it? this is an interesting question but also ask, What resources do we have where is the wealth of the nation what are out talents and what means do we have to feed, clothe house and keep ourselves warm. Thought of this way we begin to realise that absent money the means of meeting out needs remain its a question of how we marshal them and endure they are fairly distributed to meet the needs of the common wealth. Tokens for our contribution and due to our essential stake-holding in our own societies can take many forms, Money can be democratic and a tool with great benefits or it can also become a MASTER used as a tool to serve the wishes of a minority. How should we structure our social relationships of commerce and exchange how should our money be designed by whom and for whom. That is the question its not just a Guns or Butter argument although again that is an interesting question in public policy for Political economy as well.

Dig a little deeper and question not only where the Politicians are getting the money from but who ultimately is putting the money into play who are they answering to is it you and me or is it the ´´´Gnomes of Zurich´´´´The Masters of the Universe´´ ´´The City of London´´´´Wall Street Banks´´´´The Bank of International Settlements´´´´The IMF´ ´´The OWrld Bank´´´´Goldman Sachs´´,, You get the idea. Happy googling.

Dirty Tricks and Misleading packaging. Wheres the Beef? On the 2015 British General election, lessons from history.

Anyone that hasn't seen this whole drama documentary about The 1968 and 1974 coup plot against a democratically elected Left wing Labour Government under Harold Wilson should do so. The Social democracy and Left wing of British Politics is only now found in the SNP, Greens and Plaid Cymru. Consider all the cultural hype regarding the 1960's, Harold Wilson was Prime Minister for much of it and its engime was really the post war Labour Governments social reforms. The 70's is painted still by the 1979 Satchi and Satchi campaign of Labour is not working, The Gnomes Of zurich ( actually we should look at Basle and the Bank of International Settlements for the behind the scenes enablers of the Wall Street and City of London crooks these days). Anyway point of ramble is that Current Main Stream media will not give you a context against which to guage the real underlying political potentials for community action and political accountability. Go Green, Go SNP Go Plaid reject the CIA moulded Neo Liberal ( fascist) branded big budget fake products of the LIB LAB Cons. They are all Packaging and no substance. I wonder What Nye Bevan would make of it all thse days. 'I thought', said Nye, 'that you were a Yorkshireman but your Dad has been telling me all about Manchester. Where were you born, boy?' With a Yorkshireman's natural pride, I said, thinking of Sheffield's steel, 'Yorkshiremen are not born; they are forged.' 'Forged were you?' said Nye in that musical Welsh lilt of his, 'I always thought there was something counterfeit about you!'Harold Wilson, "Memoirs 1916-1964: The making of a Prime Minister" (Weidenfeld and Nicolson and Michael Joseph, London 1986, p.
